VOLUNTEER
HANDS OF HOPE

Join our incredible volunteer team!

When you volunteer at Partners INW, your impact goes well beyond the immediate project. We are truly honored and humbled to work with so many wonderful and generous people committed to preventing hunger and poverty in our community. Volunteers make a difference in every program and department. We could not accomplish all that we do without the hours and talents provided by so many of you who care.

WEEKLY NEEDS

  • Office & Clerical: reception, greeting clients, data entry

  • Clothing Bank: sorting, greeting clients, weighing clothes, check out

  • Food Bank: stocking shelves, sorting, weighing, re-bagging/packaging items, various housekeeping duties

  • Drivers: pick up “rescue food” at area grocery stores (must have truck, van or SUV)

 

SPECIAL PROJECTS

  • April: Stuff the Bus Diaper Drive (collecting diapers from local grocery stores, sorting diapers, etc.)

  • May: Annual Sugar Rush 5K (stuffing bags, registration, set-up, course monitor, clean-up, etc.)

  • October and November: KXLY Coats 4 Kids Drive (sort coats, hang, distribution, etc.)

  • November: Women Against Hunger Fundraiser (stuffing envelopes, registration, set-up, silent auction support, etc.)

  • November: Thanksgiving Food Baskets (sorting, assembling baskets, distribution, etc.)

  • December: Tree of Sharing 

 

PROPERTY MAINTENANCE/MISCELLANEOUS SERVICES

  • Moving storage items on and off site

  • Truck usage

  • Carpentry

  • Construction

  • Snow removal

  • Electrical

  • Trash removal

  • Plumbing

  • Yard maintenance

  • Paint
